Director of Music

We are delighted to announce that Mike Rooke has been appointed Director of Music for St Mary's, starting on Sunday 24 September. He will lead the choir and play the organ for two services per month, plus the festival services.

Church Heating

The project to convert the heating system from oil to gas, including the installation of a new boiler, has been completed.

The PCC is particularly grateful to Viridor Credits Environmental Company for their very generous grant that covered the cost of the work. Their generosity has been marked in a plaque above the boiler room door.

This is the second time that Viridor has

assisted the church, having made a large contribution towards the cost of re-roofing and redecorating the church.
